Photo Enforcement on the city streets of Phoenix

I saw a “photo enforcement” truck/SUV today parked on the sidewalk with lights flashing taking pictures of motorist driving South on Central Ave here in Phoenix. I was kind of happy to see something like that. Arizona motorist need all the HELP they can get. I say that because most of them will not help themselves by voluntarily taking a driving class or defensive driving class.

I stopped to chat with the guy for a few minutes. He was kind of hesitant at first but I was persistent. Now don’t any of you crazy Arizona motorist go and shoot the man. Like that nut on April 21st, 2009. He is only doing his job catching motorist that are VIOLATING the traffic laws and rules. Some folks are angry at Julian Assange and Wikileaks they are too busy looking out and not taking the time to look inwardly. This is what we desire for Arizona motorists that inwardly each motorist would police themselves. Why do you have to speed and/or run red lights? This is the action of a LAW BREAKER! Civilized folks don’t do these kinds of things, right?

The photo enforcement truck is a part of the City of Phoenix. The old photo enforcement units were part of DPS and have been removed along with the cameras that were part of the highway landscape. Don’t you motorist miss those cameras? The majority of you LAW BREAKERS didn’t pay the fines anyway. What are we going to do with you? In my world we would just take your car and drivers license for 30 days (smile). Then monitor how you would act once back on the road. Apparently issuing fines to LAW BREAKERS’ is not the answer. Remember to smile for the camera while driving on our roadway traveling above the posted speed limits!
